The Good King’s Well-Deserved Curse
By all accounts, King Heinrich was a very good king indeed. But even a good king may know doubt, and doubt is an insidious thing that creeps into a mind and poisons it against all good things.
Kit was a very ordinary young woman; the niece of a nobleman, a student of baking, and an excellent seamstress. But when she escapes an attack on her home, and hides among the people of a traveling caravan, she proves she is everything but ordinary, and all she thought she knew about her family was a lie.
So begins a fairy tale, of a king who was deservedly cursed, a princess who was lost, and the magical power that drew them back together again.
